Automations let a connected tool do work for you: when a contact changes, enrich it, write it back, or notify your team — within limits you set.
Trigger, condition, action
An automation rule fires on a trigger (like a new or updated contact), checks conditions to decide whether it applies, then runs one or more actions — such as enriching the record, writing data back, or sending a notification.
What a rule can do
- Enrich a matched contact with DealMachine property and owner data
- Write the enriched fields back to your connected tool
- Notify your team when something matches
- Only act when conditions are met (e.g. a specific lifecycle stage)
Budgets keep spend in check
Because enrichment uses credits, rules support budgets — caps on how many enrichments or credits run per day or week — and can pause automatically when a cap is hit. Duplicate triggers are ignored within a window so the same record is not processed repeatedly.
